Olly Whales allwin vendors
Has anybody noticed the variations on these machines? One's a Five Win the other a Seven Win with the ball runners spread wider so it's harder to win. I only noticed it because I was trying to decide which one to keep! Is this spread across the range of sweetie allwins, or could it be a later variation as the operator does not have to keep explaining to the punters that he has not won just 'cos the ball went in the gallery, as the two end ones are lose? Does anyone know?
Dave, it's quite possible that the seven win was a later variation as this lovely Win A Smarties that I own is dated 1961 on the back, quite late for an allwin I would assume, and it also has the seven "winners". Does anyone know when Whales actually ceased production of its allwins? Like you say though, the winning cups are quite difficult to hit due to lack of "wings" on either side of gallery!!
