I just love those dropcase machines !.
Tobias Ballman (http://www.t2balli.de) used to sell all the necessary bits to built this kind of machine (complete kits with detailed instructions, trips, case, coin acceptor, etc...). He also had tons of pictures of similar projects. Unfortunately, his website does not seem online anymore.

Tobias is still active, and you can still buy the necessary parts to
build this machine, you can also ask for the construction plan (for free).
there was a funny film in a German TV-magazine (local TV) about him and his collection...
