Just wondered - would anyone like to see my home made Conveyor prototype? Exact copy of original but smaller than a Bryans Elevenses.

Wow! What's the size compared to a normal version? I like the chain (is that plastic?) and gearing setup on the wheels, no slipping belts here :burp: ! Only thing missing is machine turned burnishing on those alloy mech plates, a sure sign of quality just like BMCO usually did.

Yes the chain is plastic and 3/8 pitch. Each gear wheel is different, meaning each of the four wheels turn at different speeds. The overall speed is variable and the drive wheel from the motor has a clutch, to prevent jams. I made my own payout mech, and clutch assy, and cabinet with real veneer. The wheels are made from hard wood and I used stainless rod to make the pins. The wheel bearings I made on the lathe with steel bar. The playfield has lights embedded 'round the edge that illuminate when playing. It's a good game and nice bit of furniture. The machine is approx 1/3rd of original size.

Wow. That is a beautiful machine. I'd love to see any more information about building one posted. I'm guessing since you built 5 of them you made some templates up.

Not really, a ruler and pencil plus years of knowledge building and restoring. Each one was marked out by hand and the playfield routed for the ball channel. I spent hours on the lathe turning steel bearings for wheels and making the slip clutch. Glad you like it.

Thanks guys, it makes it worthwhile when people like them. I've not got a new printer yet, but when I do I will add more pics of home made machines.
