This was a good buy, ( although I missed it), especially to operate. I used to have these, very shallow depth machine and fun game to play, lighting up the bingo cards to win payouts, a bit like a Tutti Fruity. easily converted S1 mech to old penny. Respray all the metal frames add some new trim and a nice machine.

Wow, that was a cheap cast iron nestle vendor, but then I looked closely and realised it had been discovered at the bottom of a canal. :HaHa:

Those were super cheap prices for the BM Co. autopay and the Bajazzo. The auction house descriptions were ignorant to the point of almost criminal. They should pay me a fine consultant fee to get the correct description of the machines. We're looking pretty stupid here, Yanks.

I figured it would be cheap, because it's not in a BMco cabinet and when I asked for a picture of the mechanism was informed it was locked. Safest therefore to assume it's unrepairable.

I would have had a punt on it if I'd thought it could be shipped to the UK for less than 3 times the sale price and without being totally trashed in transit, because I could have used the Town Broker cabinet.

On the whole I think prices were down, with many items selling below the low estimate.

December's Collector Connector and general saleroom results now in the Arena.
It was the month of the tobacco honesty boxes, with prices (excluding premiums) ranging from £75 to £480 for a slightly damaged one with an, 'engraved usage instruction poem to the lid'. These are amongst the earliest British coin-op you will find.
