Oldest bandit?

Possibly the oldest bandit in the world from the description:
this is stuff i aquired from my dad after he died so i nothing about it there is a spare works without a case as well also there is coins or tokens the machine is dated 1776 and is marked 5 cents will require refurbishing

So the dates on the patents plate must refer to the 1600s then?
Perhaps it travelled across on The Mayflower with puritans/pilgrim fathers :!?!:

And was housed in an early console made from bits of the Mayflower by bored sailors!

Your 1700s slot is nothing like the oldest fruit machine. This early Sega seems to date from the time of William the Conqueror!! (but the seller does say he's not sure :!?!: )
It's a great machine and a real eye catcher , when the lucky devil comes up the lucky devil lights up. Originally it came from a pub owned by a family member so I think it may be a 1070's machine but unsure.

Not quite the oldest coin-op, I think the Biblical water machine may have just pipped it to the post. :lol:

So the red Mills bandit was pulled by ebay. I had a bid on it and got the canellation notice. The machine was listed as "for spares or not working". I am sure this was mentioned somewhere. SHAME ON EBAY! CoNgRaTs
