I attended the auction this morning as it's
At the bottom of my street
There Was a strength tester in
I looked over it and thought 200 tops
But I don't want it
It went for 520 plus commission
That's about 640 pound
If your on here buyer ,,don't think you will be happy
New back door
New top flash
Plastic glass
Missing parts as coin just dropped right through
Big hole in bottom as put on a cast iron stand later
But didn't cover the hole,,marshalls are not the most trusty worthy lot

I don't like to rain on anyone's parade but having once owned one of these I think the estimate for this Ruffler & Walker 'Try Your Grip' was about right. Maybe mine was missing something because it didn't seem to have any mechanism to hold the pointer in place when you let go.

Does seem very pricey...The one below finished on Ebay about 4 weeks ago for £155 and I thought that was a little pricey based on condition

Did the try your grip game come out of the factory with a top flash?? Some seem to have them and others not

I've seen that casting atop the odd bandit, usually Mills Poinsettias. It doesn't look right on that 'minimalist' gripper.

Can we say they left the factory with no top flash then........

I'd say so, yes. I can see why operators would be inclined to jazz it up a bit with a top sign - it's so plain as it stands.

This on eBay at the moment.. Is this an original stand? If so what was the square bit for?
