Bagatelle, anyone got a name
Bagatelle, anyone got a name
At a Norfolk auction today, decided not to bid, but fetched £665 including commission....anyone know the name/model?
Re: Bagatelle, anyone got a name
Not so much a bagatelle, rather a pickwick type catcher.
I don't think I've seen one quite like this, but I'd say it's a Handan-Ni machine.

Never seen one before, very attractive. Like the top hat catcher. Liked the auction estimate £70 - £90

Yes, the top hat is quite special. Presumably the cabinet was topped by a fancy pediment originally.

Wow, I hadn't noticed it was a top hat on first quick glance - that's very elegant and cool! Someone put me on the list for one please.
I hereby name thee, "The Hat Trick", or maybe "Topper"?
