Bulstrodes sale
Bulstrodes sale
Always like to ensure results are captured, but 3 coin slots today at Bulstrodes auction, an olly whales and two others more interesting.
Firstly we have three conveyors for sale in one week and the first one was damn cheep at £550. Artwork was rough and I have no idea what was inside, not sure the carters one will be so...
Secondly a metal cased two player football game, not sure of make, but labelling now as Ahrens, until I get corrected as the controls don't look like theirs., sold for £2500
All excluding commission at 20%

Re: Bulstrodes sale
There have been a number of more interesting machines as of late....,...........
Is this due to average age of collector of these items hitting the cliff face.... e.g. too old to look after or not around any more and younger family not interested.

Well spotted Treefrog!
I believe that's an Arnold 22-Men Football (R. Arnold & Sons, Southend-on-Sea). Not many of those around.

Re: Bulstrodes sale
I was one of the interested parties on this game. I just love these 2player arcades and have never seen this one. It appears that there is a knob to turn the players or maybe just the goalie. Does anyone know who made this and what the functions are?

Re: Bulstrodes sale
This had been in storage for at least 40 years, so I was told, so fresh to market. The knob span all the players but not the goalie, lever kicked. There was a bidder from across the pond but it's staying here. The commission put it over the 3k if you were bidding on line.
