Win a Gift

Post by dutchboy »

Seen this one for sale and thinking of making a bid. I have never owned a machine like this but want to discover the allwin. I think some damage on the topflash. Asked the seller for some more pics but yet without success. Is this one made by Oliver Whales?
Greetings.

Yep Deffo Oliver Whales. I had one of those myself for a while. I even have some new old stock boxes for them as well, if you do manage to get it and need some boxes to put the gifts into. !THUMBS!

Looks good Hans, as long as it's not toooo expensive - will not be cheap I think.

Coppinpr, what's expensive in your eyes? I just got a mail that he accepted my offer but not so easy. So hope to pick it up in the coming week. :D

As we have said on this site many times, the value in my eyes means nothing, it's worth what you are prepared to pay. If you made an offer, and it was accepted, then the price is right.

Well I know Paul, and I think it was the right price. Picked it up this evening. Looks nice, missing the key from the door. A little scary when it opens when standing on the floor! Has a little space at the hinge above and that's the reason why the door is not straight at the moment. A little damage to the back and top flash, but no problem for me. Time to discover a wall machine when I find the time and clean a little bit. Maybe return it in the future to the UK. Nice Easter all.

!!THUMBSX2!! I'd keep it if I was you, it's a machine you won't find much where you live. I have new locks and key if you need one. That drop in the door is kind of common. Can do a new top box artwork if you need it.

I will try to keep it original. Maybe I can find a lock maker to produce a new key.

Today I had a half day time to clean a little bit on the backflash and the track. When finished, as reward I played a few shots and, before you realise, it's one hour later. :D
Now I understand the fun of these games....

Last week I wanted to see if I could re-key the lock of the door from the Win A Gift. I took out the lock to find out that the cylinder was...... completely empty! :dammit: . So I want to ask coppinpr, does the offer still there to sell a lock to me? My problem is that if I have some time to work on a machine, each time I do something to another machine. Maybe they're all finished at the same time !PUZZLED! Greetings.
