Internet bidding
Internet bidding
Today there was a nice little league game at on line auction. This was the first time for me to bid at this auction and I waited all week with bidding for the last minutes. And then it happenend... I place my bid and nothing happens!!! Sold far below my max. So I read the small lettters and what do they say? When you bid from a mobile device, you have to refresh your page by yourself!! in 2017.

Re: Internet bidding
Live internet bidding is amazingly stressful because it's just so precarious. Too many things can go wrong.
Sometimes I guess it's better to leave a proxy bid.

Re: Internet bidding
That's why I like systems like Esnipe - you can decide your max bid and walk away, stopping you from bidding just that one more bid on top, and be pretty confident that if your max is high enough you will get a good chance of being final bidder. A pity the system is not available for other auctions.
