I last heard from Steve on 21st March when Gloria was off to hospital again for another dose of chemo. She was doing well at that time. My hope and prayer is that she continues to improve.

Elephant House 1st July Auction?

Post by slotsoffun »

Post merged - Site Admin.

Is it worth the trip to EH next weekend for their auction of goods? It is listed as the 1st July 2018, 1pm on the website. Anyone heard different, or driven past EH to see if building work completed?
Don't fancy a wasted journey on Sunday!

Just taken a look on the EA web site today. Quote “We're gearing up for a special COMMISSION FREE 'comeback' auction for November, as our way of thanking all our regulars for their patience and kind support over the past difficult year.” also....”Firstly we must say thanks again to everyone for their continued support and well-wishes for auctioneer Gloria's recovery from major cancer surgery early this year. Almost at the end of the chemotherapy course (one more to go) and a nerve-wracking week ahead waiting for results of latest scan, but everything looking good so far. It's been a very long, stressful, extremely unpleasant process - we're sure most of you can relate from personal / family experience. However, she'll be back wielding the gavel on 18th November!”
So it’s good to hear that Gloria is doing well and I hope the results of her tests bring good news to their family....
So the 18th and 25th of November this year both looking good for us collectors and enthusiasts, just hoping I have some money left after the EA auction to spend at Coventry a week later! Cheers !!CHEERS!!

So will we actually see EH in action on the 18th? Mmmmm, I wonder!
Seems extremely quiet considering only weeks away! !PUZZLED!

Thats just what i was thinking!
No evidence of catalogue beginnings on website.
last tweet March 2018.
Uncharacteristically quiet on the EH front?

There is still a month to go. From past experience Steve never puts the catalogue out early. It all happens in the last week normally, with the catalogue finished the day before the auction! Makes life exciting!

Elephant house auction

Elephant House Auctions - been trying to contact them to enter machines but no response. It is now less than a month to auction day. I am thinking this is not going to happen. Will be looking elsewhere to place my machines. This is a shame but maybe Gloria is still unwell.

Fair Enough Mr PM,

I am on a couple of other extremely busy forums where the site owners encourage members to
assist moderators by highlighting possible competing /duplicate threads at earliest opportunity
so moderators can if they deem it necessary, take action before site becomes bogged down with
numerous threads. I think I must have been on one of the other sites then logged into pm............

I'll leave it in your more than capable hands from now on
