Re: Elephant House Auctions
This week's non-slot, no reserve auction at EH has, I think, nothing of interest to our hobby, although I am intrigued by the inflatable rear half of a full size aeroplane. You don't see those every day.

Re: Elephant House Auctions
Liked the Ascot, on its second outing hopefully new owner will have better luck finding a hood and backdoor....not...
Don’t think Payramid sold and not sure if retreeva did.....
Some high prices as usual, but loved the artwork on that steeraball
Oh funny moment of the day was the rusty empty Sega clone cabinet that sold for £380.....everyone’s mouth dropped

Re: Elephant House Auctions
My photos are now uploaded to the Arena.
I think you're correct. Bidding went to £900 and £2,100 respectively, which wasn't enough apparently. When the official results are published I'll correct missing/erroneous data.

Re: Elephant House Auctions
If anybody gets the chance could they please photograph the instruction sheets glued to the inside steel door/s of the Radio Rifle up for sale this weekend!? Straight on so I can read and remake for my own machine that is under restoration. Thank you!
Re: Elephant House Auctions
What a weird auction today, but I enjoyed it, I guess in part that I bought something and did not spend too much and happy with it.
Prices were very strange, some items very cheap and others the other extreme. In general I would say it was a bandit day, as many of the wall machines and large arcade items went cheap or not reaching reserve, especially the Bryans lots.....

Re: Elephant House Auctions
Any prices? There did seem some nice machines there.. How much did the pussy shooter make?
Re: Elephant House Auctions
Think about £880, I was very tempted as it looked a very genuine untouched machine needing tlc......but have too many already.

Re: Elephant House Auctions
£880 is what I wrote down (assuming it sold). The back casting scene with houses and moon was missing, unfortunately.
Will try to get results up in the Arena this evening.
