Barn lots on eBay

Post by treefrog »

They are still out there, but this lot have seen better days, 10 machines listed tonight in real barn condition with a water leak. Most seem to have bad damage to bases and sides, except one or two.

Shame about the The Jackpot flicker machine, anyone know who made this, think I have seen them before. Bad damage to base and sides and missing the cup... :#:

Looks like there are other part of machines in background photos like BMCo and multi column R&W

Yes, this lot of machines are truly 'barn finds' (had a quick look, but can't find the ebay listing).
Couple of Shefras Double Your wins, one of which looks to be in pretty good original condition, in original case. The other in an older Saxony case, but nonetheless probably redeemable.
Interesting to see the Bradfort Love Test, which appears to be in a Clown Case, although there are no cut-outs in the door for original coin entry and controls, so I don't really know what's going on there.
The BMCo looks like it might be fairly easily restorable, but all in all there's a fair bit of fire wood there!
Can't see other parts of machines in the background?

They are listed individually, have copied one of them above. Each listing has multiple pictures, not just
the one of each, that TF posted previously on this thread.

Collected these 2 yesterday..... Where do I start lol... He Said they all came from a air raid shelter in someone's garden along with fairground rides which were too far gone (in their opinion :dammit:) so they throw them as well as a hundred weight of old pennys which they took to the scrap.yard. (crackers)... The man i was talking too said the bidder on the wonders allwin backed out (£465 went for) and he's sold it for £350.. Cheap I thought but I was too late.. Anyone on here brought any of the others???

Nice one Jimmy, the Jackpot was my favourite and was tempted, just would not have done justice to bring back to life as have no cabinet making skills, in fact skills in any area for accuracy.

Still hoping someone will update who made this.

The wonders in my opinion were spares only for the hardware as with a number of the machines. Funnily I have a spare Wonders cabinet but they still went too high.

For future reference prices below as this was a batch of machines.

Wonders Win a Place £350.50
Wonders Honest Joe £465.56 (although sounded cheaper based on feedback above at 350 although I think Jimmy he was talking about the other wonders one which he relisted on a buy it now for 350 as above as originally sold for 365)
Olly Whales Double Win £415
Olly Whales Double Win short cabinet £315
Purple Saxony Allwin £261
Olly Whales Strato Play £265.60
BMCo Allwin £311
The Jackpot £320
Love Test £266
Olly Whales Allwin £246.75
R&W Fill Em Up door £456.75
BMCo 16 cup door £235
