Sold for £1,020!
Seller added:
STEVENSON & LOVETT WORKING ORDER RESTORED ABOUT 12 YEARS AGO. RARER THAN THE OTHER ONE LISTED FOR £2250

AND CHEAPER.
But the game was listed 'sold not working', so not sure what that meant. I don't think it's Stevenson & Lovett :!?!:

Interesting it sold for a good price. Yes I did bid and so did a friend in Devon but who won. There were a lot of bidders. This machine was offered for sale in Jan 2017 by the same seller but did not sell. It shows there is good interest in arcade pieces at this moment.
I have bought some bits and lost a few bits in the last month or two so to everyone please contact me if your thinking of selling any arcade pieces as I still have room in my no 2 arcade.

Which one sold for £2250? I can't find it?.... Nice machine though. The seller did add it was working with keys as an add on...

The vendor was apparently referring to: Carter's Classic Vintage Fairground Arcade Game 1922 Steering Game

Not a sale but an (optimistic?) Buy It Now price. This is where the S&L name is coming from.

I bought this to use in my old penny arcade at the Rye Heritage Centre. The seller tried to boost the price misleadingly by saying another was going for over £2000 (with no link). Clearly a steer-a- ball! His ruse probably worked but was happy to add it to my collection. the daft part of the design is making the cash box access at the rear!

Yes the rear coin box is really annoying.

I put mine on lockable wheels to make it easier.

I might need your help with a few measurements of the marquee as mines missing

Thanks Daneil
