There are now three pages of early lots ready to view. It's just been brought to my attention that page 2 may not have been accessible with mobile devices - that should be fixed now. This might be an opportune time to remind you all that the site is always best viewed on a PC or laptop.
Anyway, the list is coming along nicely, with some great items to go onto page four.
Just a reminder that the closing date for entries is next Monday, so do please get your entry forms in ASAP.

In case you've not noticed pages 4 and 5 of the Coventry Auction catalogue are up.
pages 4 and 5

As usual as soon as the date for entering lots passes the gates open.
So please if you have things to enter, please do it now.
Remember, commission bids, phone bids and the internet are not accepted, you have to be there to bid.

Thanks

Thanks for the latest update: there's still something messed up with the mobile version though, it shows page 4 and then a link to page 6 which is a page of machines that sold, with prices. And when on that page, there appear links to another 10 or so pages!
Works fine on laptop PC though.

Thanks for the feedback, you must be of an age where you can see details on a tiny screen.
Most of us have reached the point where we can comfortably make out big writing on a billboard plastered over the gable end of the house across the road ........ we're just not sure what the hell Vagisil is and are far too scared to ask!

OK, I think it's fixed now - as I've said previously, settings for mobile devices are a f*cking pain.
!!JUNK!!
It will always be correct on a PC, because that's what I'm looking at when editing the site. I have a mobile emulator when editing, but things do sometimes get missed (actually, quite often).
In any case, the site is always best viewed on a PC or laptop.
Anyway, there's more to be added but I shan't do so until I'm able to list everything in catalogue order, hopefully by the weekend.

Unfortunately not all of us have a PC/laptop. I view your site on a mobile phone. That has been okay.

It seems that the auction page has been taken down. Don't know why - is anyone else experiencing this?

It may have disappeared briefly whilst I was editing. The online catalogue is now ready to view - but be warned!!!! - things will look a bit jumbled on mobile devices for a while. Should all be OK in half an hour or so.

I'll miss the Coventry auction this year, first one I've missed in 7 years.
I like to stay in Coventry the night before, have a curry at one of the best curry houses I know (and I know a LOT), get to the club early to move a few things around for the two J's, claim my usual table and comfy chair, a little higher than the auction floor so I don't have to get up to bid, then camp out in the warm with a beer and bacon butty. Others I know usually join me for a drink and a chat (doesn't sound much like EH does it  ) and as I'm usually a buyer and a seller no point in jumping into the pay line too early, then off to Witherspoons for a light meal and another beer before retiring to the hotel to dream of the machines I didn't win. A late breakfast at the hotel and a leisurely drive home in the morning. Might as well make a weekend of it, it's only once a year... more's the pity. :#:

I'll spare a thought for BP when I go to see the Lemurs in Madagascar... it's the eyes that will bring him to mind.
