Below machine finished today at Boningtons Auctions and sold for £400 pls £105 commission.....

I like the style of the machine a bit deco, but probably 50’s as suggested. I did not bid without enough knowledge and inside are a pile of bits and wires, also missing front panel and replacement sides. Looks like there should have been glass covering the light tower.....the machine for some reason reminded me of Myers smaller machines....anyone know anything about this !PUZZLED!

This same machine sold for £380 plus premium at Reeman Dansie in 2015 - I think you attended? :!?!:
As you said, it has to be Myers. It's like a giant version of their Love test wall machines. The cabinet work, Deco style, graphics and letter font are more or less identical. They also made a small grip test but the light tower is a lighthouse on that one.

Oh dear, I am losing it and only 3 years ago.....yes you're right, I was there and drove two large multi sided arcade machines to the south coast if I recall.....

Well it looks to have slightly deteriorated since then.......

Yes lovely multi sided Ahrens machines, one being a Aerial Torpedo bomb machine.......the owner had brought a small trailer and was going to try and take them back on that. I rented a 7.5 ton lorry and drove them to the south coast as didn’t want to see them spread across the M25, Mad really.....I hope they have been restored :o

There's a working example of the Aerial Torpedo in the Museum.
