What a super, informative film! Well done. And how nice to see something not about a bandit! But I am a bit biased, mind you.

Yes very good, it makes you appreciate how clever, but simple these designs are and of course the capability of Mr Bryans.....some of the more complex models like Bullions and Hidden Treasures would be even more incredible to try and understand the actions.. I like the period start, excellent

Especially from someone whom we've always understood to be a staunch bandit collector.
I sense the wind of change.

Bingo! Badpenny, you're absolutely right... I have always loved mechanical bandits, and wondered why people went on about allwins!!! Then I purchased the Elevenses from here, and I'm hooked! The way the mechanics work are genius (hence my enthusiasm to show it off on the video), and I just love the way most allwins look as though they've had scrap bits of metal bent, bolted and twisted to make these things work (which I know they haven't, and much work and effort was probably put into the bits and machined to precision!!).
I am hooked, although I'll probably just collect 3... the Elevenses, which I have now (its so addictive, everyday as I pass it I'll drop a coin!!!), I've got the Fill Em Up allwin, now I just want the Saxony as it looks very "posh", don't you know!!!
Anyone got one!!!

Not trying to expand your horizons, however if you want a really different Allwin with astonishing mechanics supporting a really unique game play clue yourself into Brenners Ball Past the Arrow...............

Ask and you shall receive ...........

Since I did this I've tidied up some of the temporary makeshift adjustments I made to get it working. Converted it from steam to nuclear and had a haircut.

You may notice, the videos show two rather different machines. BP's is a very early model with a handle to set the arrow. Later versions did away with the handle and the two coin payout. You pulled the trigger once to release the ball and again to set the arrow and fire the ball. The prize for winning was one coin and a free go. Rippyspennyarcade's video shows the final version which had a shallower cabinet and flat arrow (compared to the earlier, chunky arrow). In this version, one pull of the trigger set the arrow and delivered the ball ready for firing upon release and there was no 'guaranteed win' position.

Have always wanted one! I think they are really neat.
Maybe I am pushing my luck but.... you would not have a video of the inside mechanism in action, would you ?

Thanks, Christophe.
