Stolen machines - British collection
Re: Stolen Machines
I had a Wurlitzer 1100 and a 750 stolen and a Seeburg v200. The v showed up on ebay via a jukebox dealer last year - at the time I had been paid out from the insurance company and with no interest from the police I just let it go. Sorry to say the police have no interest in your crime, only loading film in speed cameras and nicking easy targets. Shame as they will show up at some point.

Re: Stolen Machines
hello everyone
i got called home from work today at 10,30am as we had been burgled
the theif took cash and jewlery i keep my machine in the front room with the door locked and so they did not see what i have collected
i dont think they were after machines but i had a large collection of arcade tokens ,watling rol a top
jenning ect they took all these as they probly look like something expensive
any way i had to change all my locks and i will be getting a burler alarm
and also cctv
it very odd that innocent people live behind locked doors and bars i think it should be the other way around

Re: Stolen Machines
Sorry to hear that another collector has been hit... it's hard to look on it and say that you got off lightly, but I guess it could have been considerably worse. Anyway, it's some consolation that the reports are that such crimes are on the decrease

Re: Stolen machines - British collection
Good news, I have finally got back one of my stolen machines, the Clown catcher.
I have written an article for the MMM and there are some interesting turn of events so keep a look out for it when Jerry has space to print it.

Thanks for that Bob, no didn't think I would see any again.
However, the whole series of 'recent' events has been interesting and has certainly answered questions that have been posted on this forum about ownership - all is revealed in MMM
