New members unable to register!

My apologies to any potential new members who have tried to register recently only to be confronted by a message saying "Creating a new account is currently not possible".
Registration is now fixed and working again.

Thanks to Raj for alerting me to this. I assume the setting changed when I last updated the forum software, because I know I didn't change it.

Having reinstated the Member Registration it transpired that there was another problem...
Would-be members were not receiving their authentication emails.

I think I've fixed this now.
