Boys toys

Enter the Honourable Judge's favourite tavern for a dram of Tittle Tattle. There's an ancient bandit in the corner, but I forget his name...

Boys toys

Post by jimmy55 »

Now this is a good way to earn a living! Specialist aerial camera operators fly over Sheringham filming a new Alan Partridge movie. Interestingly the camera is a high end Lumix DSLR which gives sufficient quality. Saves £15000+ for hiring in a helicopter for 2 hours. One operator flies and the other controls camera from a stand. They carry a quad bike with a seat on the front if speed is needed and it will work out of eyesight up to 3km away ( although as it costs so much they dont like it out of sight!)

Other uses are survey work and they recently surveyed a cathedral's stained glass saving 3 days scaffolding that normally would be needed ....ultimate 'boy's toy'....... Now wheres my sons 6" Chinook?

Alan Partridge, lol!
Gotta love this Norfolk Bashing self centred phillistein!
Makes me laugh being a Suffolk Boy (by less than five miles)
I am told Norwich City Council blamed him for losing the prestigous city of Culture award a few years ago?
My missus hates his toe curling type of humour!

Cast iron, wood and twirly wire for me! Works a treat, it's graphite microphone makes you sound like Noel Coward at the other end Dear Boy.
It's original dial ticket says Sheffield 61, that however is not my number.

However a toy helicopter wouldn't be man enough. A full size Chinook however?

Edited in order to do something about all of the howevers at the end there, however decided to just apologise for them instead, blast another one!
