Design flaw: Most of the intended customers (which is the majority of the great unwashed public) does not have $100. Lower the price to $1 and you have a million dollar winner on your hands.

My school report used to say ...
"Jeremy aims high yet is easily satisfied with his meagre results."
I never knew what that meant until now.

"No one ever went broke underestimating the taste of the American public." H. L. Mencken
I would substitute "intelligence" for "taste" in the above. How else to explain the popularity of all the truly dreadful "reality" shows on American TV?

Re: At least it's not a rip off
Reminds me of the American thief in the 70s who worked out a great plan. He would offer the checkout girl at a supermarket a $50 bill for a small amount of items and when she lifted the top tray of her till to get change he would snatch the notes in the tray and run. It.all worked to plan but he got £30 in notes and she still had the $50! Later that day he tried again at another shop and got just $25. At this point he seems to have realised the fault in his plan and was never seen again. Although the police were called they did not follow up on the guy as the supermarkets, did in fact, owe him money.
