Re: Rare aristo 4 reeler
The first time I saw one of those, it was called a Quadreel and I think the date was early 1974. Soon after, they introduced the Quintette which, as the name suggests, had 5 reels.jingle wrote:Take a look bandit people

I believe the Quadreels were the earlier hopper variants, like the Hoot Mon., These "Elite" machines are all mechanical and I have seen a few for sale from up in the north east. In fact these are not original Aristo spec, but Terrance Powell refurb machines like Henry Powells were doing, you will see the name and phone number on the front. I bought one at the Elephant about a year ago for £70 as below
Re: Rare aristo 4 reeler
And that's probably why I would not put any machines in the elephant house,
Actually I did once,,am still crying in my sleep now over it
So it's a no from treefrog

Bob, you know me, I can't refuse a bargain, I agree though worth a lot more cleaned up and the Elephant one cleaned up good. Wonder if they all came from the same source....Having said all that some machines sell way over the top at the Elephant, as you know auctions are a funny game....Haven't had or bought many bargains in a while now
