Saleroom roundups
I've posted a round-up of vintage slot sale results over the last eight months (2016) in the Arena.
Re: Saleroom results roundup - 2016
Interesting saw most of them, viewed some of them, had my finger on the button on lots of them, but actually bought only one of them. Not telling which one as I regretted it ......
I enjoyed my day at the Railwayana sale where the old nestle and ticket was great private museum, never bought anything though....
Of course the prices vary hugely with the commission which is not included, with Railwayana 0% to crazy 25-30% at other auctions

Re: Saleroom results roundup - 2016
I love that French crane and seeing what it eventually went for did not seem too expensive. The cast iron grip tester was cheap, even would have seemed worthwhile shipping back here with associated costs. As mentioned before, I love those Bolands Brooklands machines.
The sailor machine at the beginning was different and looked period, I am guessing a card delivery machine with a few flashing lights all for £38....the coin entry was almost worth that...
Do not have time for these auctions anymore

A few good buys there....none found their way to my door!
That Wills vending machine was I think sold very quickly on ebay - nice looking vendor.

I was tempted but 'cast iron' and 'shipping' are two words I don't like to see together.treefrog wrote:The cast iron grip tester was cheap, even would have seemed worthwhile shipping back here with associated costs.
The Sailor's Paradise was some sort of 'through the keyhole' peepshow.
