eBay fraud?
I bid on a Jennings Governor on eBay, here. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 6182782259
I bid £350 but never dreamt of winning it at that price. I expected it to go for £700-£800 and in the end it went for £970.
Now I have received an email offering to sell it to me for my £350 bid price "as the original bidder cannot complete, or the seller has multiple items for sale" despite the fact that there were many higher bidders than me.
I may be thick, but |I'm not stupid. What's going on here?

eBay fraud?
These second chance offers should not be replied to unless they come from the original seller- they want you to send money via Western Union which you can not get back.
Make sure the sellers name matches the original listing anything else can be trashed.
I bid on the Bryan’s Magic machine which has just been on Ebay and received offers of three more(all different sellers) within three days after the auction had finished.
Lucky me!!!!!!!

Vince, I am definitely concerned as it was MY Jennings for sale and I certainly did not send that email!!! In fact the winning bidder collected the said machine tonight and was very pleased with his purchase! Please forward the email to spoof@ebay.com and report the problem. I suggest that any other bidders of high value items on Ebay keep their guard up and do the same if other fraudulent offers are received!!!
Many thanks for bringing this to my attention and keep watching the ebay auctions of lordupham for future slot bonanzas!!! :
