1940 Mike Munves Bike Race
1940 Mike Munves Bike Race
Just added a new addition - it’s a 1940s Munves Bike Race.
Aim of the game is insert your coin and both players crank the wheel. The faster you crank the faster the guys pedal around the track. First to complete a loop wins.
Now all I need to do is work out how it does all that lol. Anyone own one or maybe have a manual or schematics?

Dan, nice find in Oz, but don't think you'll need a manual as it looks very simple inside. Just a small amp with two valves that should be rebuilt. And the two motors should be pulled down and serviced too. Even if they work I always pull them down and have found so many issues that way. Just about always the grease has either turned to gunk, dried up or gone. Lots of dirty crap inside on every surface which can cause seizing. And the motor wiring will likely be disintegrating due to oil and heat damage which can be as simple as sliding insulating covering over or probably replacing.

Wow gameswat, see all these machines turning up in Aus, I reckon you don’t need to travel so far. Nice find
Re: 1940 Mike Munves Bike Race
Yeah not much to it just unsure what the adjustment pots are meant to do on the amp. And don't want to screw it up.
The amp looks like it’s already been rebuilt with new caps and resistors which was a nice surprise.
Haven't had much time to play with it yet but did manage to get the little guys peddling

Well I had a win today. After spending a week tracing wires and drawing up some schematics I got it working as it should. Not perfect but working.
