New aussie additions Skill Wheel and Penny Patience
New aussie additions Skill Wheel and Penny Patience
This is my second attempt at uploading - last time failed trying to load pictures and I lost the lot.
These two games came from the same country warehouse lots of my games came from but the guy who got onto the deal wanted to keep a couple for his showroom so it took me longer to convince him I needed them more than he did. Would be a shame to break up the collection.
Skill wheel has sagged and was rubbing on the glass and the whole back and base was gone. So after some bush engineering I got the disk level and the games now playable. I love the use of old pistons as the pivots for the handle and spinning disc it just screams showman built.
Also installed a new floor and added some wheels as space is a premium and everything needs to move easily.
Penny patience had a huge washer jammed inside and the cabinet and base were very loose and ugly so I removed the washer, tightened up what could be tightened, and glued and clamped the rest and installed the wheels. I also found a 1922 penny under the scrap limo inside, which I was happy about. I love finding treasure in these old girls.
Both games will be left as is while I decide which direction to take them.
