Whatever was up with these people? Why dump them over the side rather than recycle the metal?

Making a statement, I suppose. The one that comes to my mind is "what a bunch of knobs"!

the interesting thing about the machines from Chicago going into the lake in 1958 is the Mayor was himself know to be corrupt at that time (and pretty much every other time) I guess Patrick J. wasnt paying off the right people :!?!:
