Posting smilies
Topic split & moved from Opportunity of the decade coming - Site Admin.
A member recently used "SMILIES" in reply to a contencious subject... GREAT IDEA......I would like to review some old postings and add a few 'SMILIES"...It could provide for some chuckles. Please explain how to transfer the characters as shown on the right side to the content of the post. Thanks

Hi ..... I fail to understand the connection between your two questions and the topic of the thread you've posted in.
To help me, please expand on your line of thought,
Thanks

Hi Badpenny.........in answer to your post....firstly, please explain how to transfer "SMILIES" into a post............as to why I choose to post under "Opportunity of the decade coming"......I followed the heated posts with no understanding of the background or motives of the characters involved which finally led to some postings being removed...I was most impressed with the post by MR. Peterson who simply supported the sale in question by using the clapping "Smilies"....Who could get mad at these little guys ???

Just click your mouse on the smilie you want and it will appear in the text.

Re: Posting smilies
That's correct. After you click a smilie, you won't see it as an image until you submit the post.

Re: Posting smilies
You can't modify the smilies.
You asked how to change the one with two fingers into one.
Be careful, as I'm sure you realise the two fingers one is saying "I hope" as in fingers crossed. Whereas if you found and posted one with one finger you may well be saying something obscene.

Re: Posting smilies
Sorry Mr. P...I thought the little guy was tipping his hat as in "THANKS"...turns out the caption reads "junk" whatever that means.
Re: Posting smilies
Ummmm......I'm starting to wonder if those smilies might be some kind of twisted Rorschach inkblot test being foisted on us by the Guvnor!?jailtime10 wrote: ↑Sun Jul 08, 2018 3:30 pm I thought the little guy was tipping his hat as in "THANKS"...turns out the caption reads "junk" whatever that means.
