Fixing payout slides together

Post by radiochrissie »

Hi, I need to make a single payout slide for 5 old pennies. I have slides for 3 and for 2. Barring spot welding them is there any other way of doing it !PUZZLED!

I would not weld, they only need a minor fixing. I have come across so many that rather than modify for 12 coin payout they would lock together the slides with either small bolt at the front edge or a copper rivet. This has allowed me to return to full 20 coin payout on a number of machines. Seen often on older Mills mechs....if position in Center and file down should not affect action. If I get to one I can take a picture

TF, does that then require modification of the relevant horizontal fingers, or does the top paying vertical one have an elongated tab to knock both the upper horizontal ones out of the way?
Sometimes I wonder if I'm the only one who can picture what I'm saying. !PUZZLED!
