Whether you like it or not JC (and I'm guessing by your tone, you don't.....
Actually, there was no 'tone' intended, rather tongue-in-cheek - perhaps I should have used one of these ;-) . That said, I do (as do many others) find the term 'British English' offensive. Regardless of what the Oxford English dictionary may or may not have had to say about it 200 years ago, it is only in comparatively recent years that it has come into common usage - and always to distinguish American English from ENGLISH.

Or Australian, New Zealand, Canadian, South Asian, African English etc. I think it would be more offensive to say only Brits speak English than to distinguish the variant we speak as British English. It's the only term which covers it. Standard English is the national norm of any English speaking country, Queen's English is posh pronunciation like what the Queen speaks, and Original English is no longer spoken because we Brits thoroughly 'bastardised' Old English a long time ago.

Hi,

so after picking up the winafag,
I'm not really happy -
as you see it is not a wreck - but near by....

so it would be a lot to do,
and I'm not sure if it's worth for
me to invest a lot of time and work
in an english machine (as I'm collecting only german machines)

So if one of you thinks its better
to get this one home to the Kingdom - let me know.

I paid 280,- Euro (incl. commission),would be happy with
a service fee of 70,- Euros for driving, packing etc.
and could send for 40,- Euro to the UK.

would be 390,- Euro which is 350,- Pounds.

first come, first served

Otherwise I will take it to the convention in Rosmalen and see what will happen....

BR Marco

It looks recoverable, but not for me......wading through so many projects at the moment. The solenoid looks beyond hope and no idea what that other coil is for. The question of whether these machines started as fag machines or were converted, looking at back of this, you can seen old holes where items like the bell would be and other parts as well as the window that lit up, maybe indicating they were converted. I see the mercury switch is still there hanging by the ciggie slide.

You might get bumped off by mods for the selling rules of course :#:

I don't think Paul broke any rules - his advert came up in the Market about the same time as his post here. !THUMBS!

I merged your post here, because we've seen this one before and I don't think it was ever Oliver Whales. It has all the hallmarks of the BMCo. electromechanical allwins.
