For Sale & Wanted ads just placed

Post by deano67 »

Hi everyone,

Just letting you know I have just placed FOR SALE and WANTED ads in the marketplace.

Please take a look and let me know if there is anything of interest.

Phone/text would be quickest as I only see emails in the evenings.

Cheers.

Hi All,
Reducing the prices of my items in the For Sale section. I have had no response or questions since placing the ads. Could I ask if the prices are too high or are the machines something people are just not interested in maybe?
Cheers.

I can only speak from my corner of the garden shed.

I think your prices are OK, they're just not really for me at the moment.
Your advert could be a little more detailed.
If you're selling them for spares, what is wrong with them? Someone may need a specific part, which might not be working on yours. What coins are they on?
Your pricing is a bit confusing too, you say the machines are for sale and then indicate prices per bit.

Basically to try and tempt people you shouldn't leave them with more questions hanging than before they read your advert.

Good luck

Ok, thanks for the advice.

The Roma runs on old large pennies.
The Bally runs on current 2ps (I guess it would have been originally used pre decimal coins).
Both machines work but payout needs tinkering with on the Bally. Listed as spares because of this and maybe to give someone the chance to get their own machine working. Also bit worried about permits if listed as complete machines?

If anyone is interested please ask any further questions and make offers etc.

Cheers.

Don't worry about permits for three reasons, (1) the rest of us don't (2) you still (legally) need a permit to sell slot spares and parts and (3) EH don't have anyone to report the add to so it gets removed.

I have a liking for the BALLY Gold Award conversions, but if you add the prices listed, it gets rather steep for a non-working example.
I would only expect to get £300 tops for my working one, and it's back on 6d. for two pulls.

Hi,
199 for the complete machine rather than buying it in parts.
Cheers.
