I normally advise researching past prices in the Arena, but the Search function has been out of order for a long time, making this difficult. I'm currently rebuilding that. Meantime, the only two records we have for minisoccers are £132, Bonhams 2008 and £120 plus 10%, Elephant House 2013.

Hi all, I'm new to this site but it looks great. I'm considering buying a Minisoccer and wanted to know if there are any common issues with this game that I should look out for. Thanks.

:WELCOME: to the site!

No particular issues come to mind, but like any relatively complex electro-mechanical machine, many small faults can disable the game. As mentioned in this topic, the simple timer mechanism can play up. I recall having to tinker with that component. They're solidly designed and robustly constructed. As would apply to any electro-mechanical game, if it's been stored in the damp for years there are likely to be all sorts of problems.

Thanks pennymachines. I'm used to em pinballs so that is ok. Will be comparing against a Bally 1968 World Cup which commands a higher price.

MiniSoccer LTD. Help

Post by bricke »

Topic merged - Site Admin.

Hello,

I have a minisoccer from Minisoccer LTD,
I bought the machine and the owner had it working a couple of years ago.
Now it powers on but the motor doesn't do anything.
Is someone able to help me out on this or has the knowledge of what could be wrong.

Edited to remove email address, and protect OP from unsolicited spam concerning erectile dysfunction tablets. They don't work and taste very bitter.

It's a long time since I had a Minisoccer but I think they were quite basic (from memory). Is the coin operating the microswitch on the coin chute? The timing is done by the small motor under the play field. This is where mine had an issue and would not work. The motor went open circuit so the game would not play. Do you have a multimeter to test the thing?

The machine was just a bit rusty (the motor). It works fine now. It's a great machine. I love it. It's some old piece of electro mechanical engineering.
If someone has a price indication, I would be very happy. Love it.

Hi,

This is for my Minisoccer Ltd.
I think it is 12v, if I'm correct.
Thanks in advance. The length is 5cm and the width is 2.5cm.

I have had a look at what I have, sadly nothing like yours. To help you in your search the correct name of the item you need is a "Push Pull Type Open Frame Solenoid".

You could check this site. You might find one here? Good luck. !!THUMBSX2!!
