BMCo/Bolland's allwins identified
Re: BMCo allwins identified
It's either that gameswat or the woodworm has devoured the lose holes as well.

Some images of another example. The back of the case is thin sheet steel.

That is great thank you so much. I can now cross reference the photos and see what I'm missing. Cheers
Bollands allwin
Hi, just want to get some more information on this machine. I haven’t see one before and not familiar with Bollands. Is this a rare machine??

Re: Bollands
Yes, we normally say these slightly Deco-style allwins are made by BMCo., but the applied logo trumps our guesswork. The activities of Bolland's and BMCo. are much entwined. Bolland's worked in conjunction with BMCo. and in 1938, "injected capital by means of a partnership with their MD" (Braithwaite). I've merged your topic with this existing one and relabelled it as your machine is perhaps telling us that these Deco allwins are more Bolland's than BMCo.
Gameswat posted this Bolland's decal to Resources from, "an early '30s machine of mine". Curious to know what machine that was...

But that decal doesn't automatically imply manufacturing since he was a famous dealer in used machines. I have that same Bolland's decal on both ends of an early German two player machine I own.

Re: BMCo/Bolland's allwins identified
That's certainly true, and likewise BMCo. were primarily dealers, at least in their early days. My point really is that the strong business cooperation between the two companies (plus a lack of documentation of BMCo.'s output) makes it hard sometimes to distinguish who made what. As you say, it may be more likely that this allwin was made by BMCo. but sold by Bolland's.
What machine was your decal on, or is it a secret?

Already on here. Currently in a ton of bits having the heavy rust dealt with, well was being dealt with but been left now for months.....
