Scales. Have we ever heard of this coin op pioneer?
I've been researching for some time for a new section on the www.penny-arcade.info site featuring coin operated weight scales and I found this small piece from the Independent newspaper. Have we heard of him before?

Absolutely. Percival Everitt is widely acknowledged as one of the founding pioneers of the coin-op industry. See P12 onwards of Nic Costa's Automatic Pleasures, P104-5 More Automatic Pleasures, p67 of Paul Braithwaite's Arcades & Slot Machines, etc. The scale shown is by British Automatic Co.
