Answer is no, take about £2400 off it and would be closer.... Ebay is full of opportunists.

Yes thought that! It must be worth more than £550 though, surely?

I wouldn’t want to get too into details of value, as it varies who is around to pay at any given time. Look at Elephant prices over the years and the same Hi Top can sell for half what it did a year later. Generally a good condition one may sell for between £600 and £700. Then add more for specials like Token Bell, Melon Front, Bonus etc. This on is not rare or special, has 777 awards and no token vendor or token bar, but has token pay discs. Has no cash box or original handle and lock.....why are there 12 watchers I want to know.

Funny, the paint colour is the same as I did a Bolands machine I have.

Yes, my offer would be around that mark. Could I ask for more info on token vendor and discs?

So the token vendor sits to the left of jackpot looking from back, you will see mount posts. The release bar is higher than the jackpot reset bar and attached to the reel stop at the rear. The reel tin pay discs should have deeper slots in where the 777 are aligned which released the token bar and then the token. I cannot see the slots in the pay discs, but they are of the type that would have them. I have a spare token vendor and bar somewhere and they come up regularly for sale. You would need to ask the seller what is paid on the 777 line. Maybe it is the jackpot...

Thanks for the info. Seller thinks it's rare as it's got the 777 100 coin payout, UK coinage (which the majority seem to have anyway). Said he could put on a pallet for delivery too!! SHREEK. Have asked how the 100 coins payout works and if he has tested it; let you know.

I have loads of the 100 coin payout award badges, maybe I will stick a few on my machines and add a couple of grand.... :HaHa:

Oh we live in a funny world... will be interesting to hear the response.

He's now saying its not that rare after all! The token part has been removed; yes - no coin box, and didn't comment on the wrong handle, or so-called rare UK coinage. Asked him to test lining all the 7's up manually and see if it throws the jackpot.

Very funny, the blurb ends saying .. First sensible offer will secure... which is clearly not something he's prepared to do himself.

His feedback over the last year makes interesting reading.

Yes, all a bit shady, especially, "I can put it on a pallet"!

So I guess it's just one of those ads you see more and more that are intended to generate an "off ebay" sale. dirtdog

I emailed the seller and he is aware it should have the gold award token vender and associated linkage. He was very diplomatic and thanked me for my help.
He acknowledges that his asking price is very ambitious and knows the true value is around £600.
So there you go folks, make of it what you will!
