Re: LOCK DOWN TIME!
I was trying to avoid The Tube I had an issue with some of my vids being stolen and then reappearing elsewhere under a different name.
Then again I suppose in the great scheme of things it hardly matters.

Re: LOCK DOWN TIME!
Try this link, it should work .... although by now, especially having watched it umpty twelveteen times I hardly think it's worth the effort now. I'll try and do another one tomorrow for the Novomat.

Re: LOCK DOWN TIME!
Very nice BP. I have to admit I do prefer them running quicker, so leave the wire in place or adjust as appropriate. Problem is in this country most punters would have fallen asleep playing one of these or moved to the next machine. An Orion I refreshed and got running correctly last month and yes I know it is lime green, I had the paint and fancied something different. Anyway, by comparison running quickly, better money taker.

I don't know. Odd thing is, I don't have to change anything - I just clicked Edit and reposted it.

Wrong PB, well worth the effort. Good looking machine. Did you replace the brass payout slides or keep them?bad penny wrote:Try this link, it should work .... although by now, especially having watched it umpty twelveteen times I hardly think it's worth the effort now

That's nothing compared to my Wulff "Jupiter". You could play the coin, go make a cup of tea, come back, hit the restart button on one of the reels, go get a biscuit and still be back in time to see the result come up.

Re: LOCK DOWN TIME!
So I recut the coin entry and return slots.
Reshaped the coin gate to hold 1d.
Reformed the first stage of the coin tube as it had been restricted.
The second stage had been sleeved with a tube held in place with Isopon, I burnt that out and reamed it smooth.
I reamed out the slides from 22mm holes to 32mm and took the opportunity to re centre the stack.
The game was also very fast, so I removed the wiring on the clock's governor, it's now 20 seconds, but will speed up with playing as the copper leaves aren't bedded in yet and still retain a bit of memory. 15 seconds will be better unless you're in the habit of falling asleep between plays.
The restart on reel one was intermittent and lazy. Dismantling that element and cleaning/lubricating all pivots and axles cured that.
Each reel had a bridge spanning a higher pay out with a change of reel symbol. All removed.

Paul C wanted to know the address of Bernard Brenner - it was 374 London Road, Croydon. My father had a publishing business in London Road, close to this address in the 1950s/60s.

eBay is finally drying up on the sales front, people have finally realised people can’t collect items and delivery firms are inundated. I ordered some items before lockdown that still have not turned up........it was quite funny the guy who bought some windows on eBay recently and was fined by police for making an unnecessary trip as well as stuffing his wife in the boot of the car on the return trip

Very good WM, you must be pleased with that. Is the cornice on the top of the cabinet original?

Hi Argee
The corniche was copied from a picture I got, and moonriver - the whole thing took around 3 months part-time and waiting for other people like chromers and engineering shop!
