Sega clone internal wood case paint

Hi
I'm looking for some advice regarding paint used on the internal ply wood cabinet on a Sega Clone.
Please could anyone help with the type of black paint used on the internal sides, front, base ply wood of the cabinet.
The paint is pretty worn so before I start to tidy it up I just wondered if this had been a gloss, satin or matt finish?

Looks matt to me. They were never meant for people to see how wonderful they looked inside, probably to hide the grime. Maybe blackboard paint. You could spray, but would need to tape up.
