Cheeky, Although the trigger (thumb hammer) does not look like the standard Whales piece, according to "Arcades And Slot Machines" by Paul Braithwaite (available from your friendly Site Administrator in the "library" section) this game is a proud offering from Mr. Whales in the mid-50's. Your game is a particularly gorgeous example. I have one that looks like King Kong took a liking to it before it got to me.
