Rotating escalator Aristocrat Tic Tac Toe
Re: Rotating escalator Aristocrat Tic Tac Toe
I managed to bend this up just a little bit by adjusting the lower plastic ball connector.
All that was needed.

Leftover parts - Aristocrat Tic Tac Toe
Topic merged - Site Admin.
Hi guys.
I guess some of you know the feeling.
Disassembled a slot machine for the first time and when you have put it back together you stand there with some leftover parts.
The machine is working just fine, so it's actually not a problem.
I just wanna know where they belong and what function they have.
I have managed to figure out they have something to do with the coin slot.
Since it is my first machine I'm surprised there's not even more leftover parts.

There has to be a benefit in this affliction called collecting and restoring coin operated amusement machines, you've just stumbled on it and wish to reject it?
The rest of us ask beloved to stop throwing out empty jam jars and corn flake boxes in order to store such gifts from the gods.
Store it all in a jam jar each time you are presented with manna from heaven, and label it according to from which machine it came.
After you have successfully played a minimum of 500 coins through each repaired machine you then empty the jars' contents into the cornflake box.
In as short a time as 8 years you should be able to build a machine from what's in the box.
Alternatively wait a lifetime and your children can run a spares day, like we do in Derby.

Get your point, badpenny.
But I still would be happy if someone could tell me where this parts should be placed.
Otherwise I will never learn.

Take no notice of BP, his sense of humor doesn't convert well to a foreign language........or English sometimes.
The parts look very much like glass panel or wire retainers and easily get left out because they were really put there as double or triple protection against rough use. In a collector's world they may very well not matter, as you are not going to mistreat the machine.

As the Parts are 3D printed ... that should be a simple fix, the PLA plastic melts at around 150 deg C,
so, using a hair dryer of heat gun, you can gently heat up the wheels so they become flexible and then using a cloth ... push them against the metal back ... when they cool they should stay flush to the back plate
hope this helps

Re: Rotating escalator Aristocrat Tic Tac Toe
I was hoping others may have been able to post pictures. However, he was able to refit parts, as factory supplied, through a pm message yesterday. I did however, this morning, find in my spares drawer the flagged up parts, so to clean up the thread, I've posted pictures below. The two 3 hole items attach below the coin entry plate, and the 2 hole item sits inside one of the coin reject parts.

Rotating escalator Aristocrat
Can anyone help me with pictures of the arms separately from the rotary mechanism? The mechanism of my Aristocrat has been changed to a drop down system and i'm going to make them myself (because spare parts are rarely available) but I canโt find any measurements or pictures of the arms. Thanks.

Re: Rotating escalator Aristocrat Tic Tac Toe
Thank you for the picture. Is there a hook on the bottom arm?

Re: Rotating escalator Aristocrat Tic Tac Toe
Fantastic, thanks a lot. If I am able to make it, and if it works, I'm going to post a picture from it.
