Site Admin - Can you supply me with the right size balls

Post by cheeky »

I have two Jamieson slot machines without balls. Can you tell me the right size and who can supply them?

A microswitch is also missing from my Time Limit allwin. Does anyone have the right switch?

Seasonal best wishes

Hi

I can't oblige with the balls until someone tells us what they should be.
I seem to recall they were nylon, or some other plastic material. If we can discover more, I may be able to source them for you.

The Time Limit microswitches are V4-12 5A125 or 250VAC.

I'll ask my electoronics pal tonight if he has some.

Cheers.

Wow, it would be great to pick up the right microswitch. I never thought about the balls being nylon. Any more info on Jamieson always appreciated.

Yep Dave - but do you have any Jamieson allwin style machines?
I don't know if they all used the same size balls, but I'm fairly sure they weren't metal.

........ for what it's worth all The Time Limit machines I've had used metal balls and the 2 Jamieson type flick-a- ball machines I had used ones that were sort of hard plastic/bakelite and were quite large ..... I think.

But don't believe a word I say. I'm not to be trusted............ :???:

The plot thickens!!! I have spoken to an old operator who is sure that the balls were metal.

By the way, is anyway going to the Christies auction with a spare ball for my other Jamieson machine? For payment of course!
