Re: Recent purchases
Just a heads up that there is a Ruffler & Walker Grand National racer listed on the EH web site for any one that missed this one.

The allwin bmc. 1930s
Re: Recent purchases
As Jimmy stated, the allwin is by The British Manufacturing Company (London) run by Charles Featherstone and dating from the 1930s, they also made a halfpenny version of this machine - see photo below, the company did not survive WWII.
Lovely looking machines.
Lovely looking machines.
Re: Recent purchases

Re: Recent purchases
Grand National and Slick cosmetically and mechanically restored and both great fun.
Re: Recent purchases
Like the connotation that you can literally 'spend a penny' in the bathroom nick
Re: Recent purchases
Nice, but I think the Grand National would have looked better in the bathroom.
Re: Recent purchases
Nick - is that a 'Swinging Swinger' I see next to the Grand National?
