Oliver Whales Lock Replacements

Post by cheeky »

I have a few machines with the original Oliver Whales locks fitted. Some are, well let's say, not as robust as I would like. Has anyone found a suitable modern day replacement that's more hardwearing but doesn't require the hole in the door to be drilled-out? In other words, more durable but the same size. Many thanks...

What’s wrong with the originals, always seemed good to me, unless yours have been buggered

I have a few with the locks missing but thankfully the holes haven't been drilled out.

Sorry confused as you mentioned you had poor quality ones……fairly certain these are the same as we discussed recently where the hole is offset, as such very difficult to directly to replace as most modern locks are centered in the middle, as such would need some adjustment to fit….

Sorry. I wasn't clear. Some of my locks are knackered too.
