Anyone like making very complex models?

Enter the Honourable Judge's favourite tavern for a dram of Tittle Tattle. There's an ancient bandit in the corner, but I forget his name...

Anyone like making very complex models?

Post by coppinpr »

Well, I do! I'm about a third of the way through making this lego MOC model. "Lego" you say! "sounds simple to me, not complex" not so I reply. This model was designed by a Japanese designer and refined in Holland. It has 4850 parts and I expect it to take me the best part of 6 months to assemble (I only have limited spare time to give to it). and it is VERY difficult, in the first 100 sections I've probably made 30 mistakes and had to backtrack. It runs on one small lego electric motor, and the best part is...there is no point to it at all!! other than the fact that it is fascinating to watch and demanding to build.
Watch the video from the point where it goes to motor driven, then its simply hypnotic

Now I’m very tempted. Is that where you bought it?
