Maillardet's automaton

If you like working models you must appreciate the operation of a quality autamaton.
Well, I came across one of the greatest automatons of all time. It also has a fascinating history to go along with an amazing operation.

It is known as MAILLARDET'S AUTOMATON.

I would like to see some enterprising members of our club research the full story of this machine and record the operation on the Penny Machine Forum............And to think that it was once a pile of junk.

I would love to be of help but I have a hard time logging into my account let alone going through these tecknalogical shananagins.
