Sega Windsor series bandits
Re: Problems on two Sega Windsor machines
The S10 acceptor on New Penny is easy to convert to tanners, which can be a great help in restoring Bally Gold Awards, among others.
Sega Mad Money glass question
Topic split from Sega Mad Money glasses (wanted) & merged - Site Admin.
Hi
Do you still have any of these?
I'm looking for a replacement glass for a Sega Mad Money Bandit. I think it's the Windsor series. Any ideas?

Re: Sega Mad Money glass question
Does anyone have a top glass for a Sega Mad Money Windsor machine ?
Also how can I find the payout settings ?
This was a project my late partner started, I'd like to get it finished.
Any drawings or hand books out there ??

Re: Sega Mad Money glass question
I suggest you post a photo of it, as there are various versions that use those names and can be quite different.

Re: Sega Mad Money glass question
To check the pay outs you need to force a win.
With the door open...
Play the machine;
Immediately reach in and stop the spinning fan you can see at the back;
Stop the reels by hand on winning combinations and then let go of the fan;
Do that on all of the winning combinations and check they are accurate.

Re: Sega Mad Money glass question
The glasses I pictured earlier in this thread for another member, did not want them and since one of them tragically got broken (should have put straight back into storage) I still have one, but suspect yours has bad cracking, which is common as the paint shrinks with heat and I think the one I have has a mild case of this.
Re: Sega Mad Money Windsor series
Difficult to tell from the picture, but I assume you are talking about the coin tube and tube head at the top….

Re: Saga Mad Money Windsor payout shoot hopa
From the photo, your machine doesn't have a hopper? It's slides paid. What's wrong with the current parts?

Re: Sega Mad Money Windsor payout chute hopper
I think alliofinn means the black plastic coin hopper/tube.
I don't know where you would find one, and it will need to be for the correct coinage. Perhaps it could be fabricated using suitable diameter tube or a 3D printer.

Re: Sega Mad Money Windsor payout chute hopper
The screw eyes have broken. I'm thinking of getting one 3D printed. Would like to see a complete one.
Re: Sega Mad Money Windsor payout chute hopper
It's just the top piece not the tube. Or is it one part ??
Re: Sega Mad Money Windsor payout chute hopper
Here's a couple of images of the tube / header.
Not sure if these were originally one part and subsequently modified by operators if the coinage changed.
This one has a 1p tube and looks narrower diameter than the one you need.

Yes, that's it. It takes either a shilling or big 5p.

Sega Windsor pull handle not working

The pull handle on my Sega Windsor Mad Money has stopped working.... Any ideas? The mech works outside the case.
Also what size are the small bulbs on the coin entry amount?

Re: Sega Windsor pull handle not working.
Just to clarify ...
You enter a coin and you know it's accepted into the mechanism?
However, the handle doesn't engage?
Or ...

However, the handle doesn't move at all, it is completely locked up solid?
Or ...
Do you know if the coin is getting accepted? Where is the coin sitting when you slide the mech out? What do you do to prepare it for the next try?
I suspect, you enter the coin, and the handle moves a fraction yet is still locked. When you slide the mech out the coin continues through and into the machine, or it drops freely into the case?
If that's what happens then the top of the chute on the mechanism isn't perfectly in line with the coin mech.
