Thank you Moonriver for your comment. Comments (good or bad) are a bit of a rarity on my slot machine video films of which I have a few on here. It's nice to know some people enjoy them. At times I wonder if I should have bothered as most times there is no feedback. Luckily I do enjoy doing them!

My only view on this is that you're enjoying doing it, which is what is important and although it is nice when someone responds, likes or shares your posts, it does not mean people don’t enjoy them if they do none of the above. I have seen most of your videos and enjoy them, often seeing machines recently sold I have considered, but abstained on, so like to see them run. I also have a less informative selection of videos on YouTube without commentary and have got used to no feedback or comments or views, but just enjoy sharing. A bit like all social media, most posts are ignored and many receive no comments. Just view them on this site to see the numbers.......

I am afraid the crack put me off on this one, but love the visual effect of this machine as '50s and '60s were the most colourful of all arcade machines made.

I completely agree with TF.
We have created a social strata that lurks. Everything on the internet is free to them and they see no reason to interact.
Look at the number of members on this forum, it says 1856. Even if you guess that two thirds are non existant that still leaves over 600. If you now suppose that half of those are shy then 300 is still a much higher figure than those that actually contribute.

Just keep at it Rob, you enjoy it, and so do we.

You deserve a medal for the work you've done in supplying us all with these review videos. The description of the machines themselves and the explanation of the times you played them back in the '60s & '70s, together with your enthusiasm is infectious. I love to see these machines working as they should and you show us just that and more.

I agree. It's a real talent to be able to do a voiceover in an entertaining way and you do it very well.
I think the cracks are probably in the best position they could be if there was a choice. They almost blend in with the lines of the coloured segments.
If the cracks run though, they could go right across the front screen which would be a disaster. This could happen if any future pressure is applied to the front of the perspex or if there is ever any flexing.
When we get any small cracks in the perspex of our sunbed bases we use chloroform (applied through a vintage glass syringe and hollow needle) which runs along the crack by surface tension and melts the crack together. On larger cracks we drill a very small hole right at the end of the crack and it can't run any further, a damage limitation exercise really, but prevents it getting any worse.

1960s on site, wouldn't that plastic dome have been full of cig burns in a couple of weeks, or worse still, a burn hole then they stop the lever on 6d or shilling till the hopper emptied?

I stumble upon your videos from time to time coinop, probably seen most of them now. Never left a comment, I'm not sure I know how to! Great work though, please keep it up.
