Image rotation

Post by pennymachines »

This little rotate symbol allows you, if required, to change the orientation of any images you attach to a post.

The symbol appears to the left of your image file name(s) under the Attachments tab.

1. Click the rotate symbol and a thumbnail of your image appears in a pop-up.
2. Click inside the pop-up to rotate the image. Each click rotates it by 90 degrees.
3. When it's the right way up, click the save button below the pop-up.

When you submit your post, your images should be correctly oriented. !!THUMBSX2!!

I've added this feature because attempts to automatically get orientation correct are still fooled by incorrect EXIF data and inconsistent browser upload behavior, amongst other things...
