Why on earth would they want a 24 hr licence? the place is a ghost town by 9pm

Did they let them vacate first?

They closed one in Derby that was in the middle of a large estate infamous for Drugs/Prostitution and Twoc'ing. They didn't close it immediately, first they only manned it Mon - Fri 9.00 am to 5.00 pm. Because obviously everyone knows Crims only work Banker's Hours.
Anyhoo, due to nothing be solved Mon - Fri 9.00 am to 5.00 pm it was all the proof needed to make the station redundant.
Since then if you see a cat in that neighbourhood with a tail, then it must be a stranger in town.
