Forum Search Facility

The Search facility only brings up results under the ARENA heading, even when I go to advanced search and hit Forum or Phrase search. I have even typed in a name that I know has appeared in Forum discussions and the resultant message is 'sorry no results were found'
Is anyone else having this problem?

Hi Arrgee,
The site search engine no longer indexes the Forum, but indexes all other areas of the website. So currently, you have to use the Forum site search for that purpose. For anything outside the Forum, use the overall site search.

In order to get the overall site search indexing the Forum again I would have to repurchase the software and liaise with the developer. I've not done so because I found him unhelpful and defensive when previously troubleshooting issues.

I was looking for references to the latest Nic Costa book which I recall was mentioned in the Forum by Dr Alan Meades - I have now found it albeit using the long way round and looking at all the Forum topics until I located the post. Will remember to use the other search facility in the future.

So a Forum search of Nic Costa fetches this, currently with results 2 - 15 referring specifically to the new book. Results are in chronological (i.e. time-posted) order.

I'm looking into new software for the overall site search, as one-strike total searches are good.
