Thought I needed to add this recent sale of an early Tim Hunkin invention “Peace”

Not sure how many of his curious funny machines have made into private hands, but this one sold the other day on eBay for £1650…

Can’t believe I have still not visited the pier and no excuse as very close to me

Excellent.
When I was landlord of The One Tun in Goodge St W1 we had a very heavily used jukebox.
I can't remember how I found it, but obtained a 45 single (CDs had only just come out) which had no recording on it.
So for 20np you could buy yourself 3 minutes of silence. It was very popular.
